Dad?

Throughout my life, my father has changed from my role model to a horrible creature.

All I wanted was to be a good child.

But instead, I was shunned and whipped away.

As he left, with no regrets on his shoulder, I was left devastated.

Anytime he visits, things only go wrong.

All he does is make threats and scream.

For a while, I truly hated him.

I hated all that he’s done to me, my mom, and my cats.
